Job Description

We are a reputable child care center located in Naperville, and we are actively seeking new team members for our 83rd Street facility at 1928 Springbrook Square Drive, Naperville. This particular opening is for a Cook / Kitchen Coordinator role where you will have the opportunity to interact with children of various ages.

Within this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the distribution of two meals and one snack daily, catered by an external provider, to each classroom within the center. As the cook at our preschool, your duties will include:

Ensuring the proper handling and preparation of all food items;
Adhering to relevant laws and regulations regarding food safety;
Maintaining consistent portion sizes;
Completing dishwashing tasks post-meal times;
Monitoring inventory levels of food and supplies for reordering purposes;
Establishing clear and efficient communication channels with school staff, parents, and children.

The typical work hours for this role are from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with opportunities available for both full-time and part-time employment. Starting hourly remuneration is set at $17.00 per hour.
