    Rate: $70/hr (C2C)

    Location: Remote (US Based)

    Work Auth USC & GC Only

    We are currently seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with PowerBI expertise for a remote position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to data management and data integrity projects while utilizing their SQL and PowerBI skills.

    Key Skills/Attributes:

    • Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) for database development and management
    • Experience in data modeling, data analysis, and data manipulation
    • Strong understanding of database concepts, including normalization, indexing, and query optimization
    • Hands-on experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting
    • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract actionable insights
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources
    • Design and implement database structures and schemas to ensure data integrity and performance
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective PowerBI dashboards and reports
    • Create visually compelling and interactive PowerBI reports to convey key business metrics and trends
    • Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and provide insights to support decision-making processes
    • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data by implementing data quality checks and validation processes
    • Maintain and enhance existing SQL databases and PowerBI solutions as needed
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for SQL and PowerBI-related issues

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in SQL development and data analysis
    • Strong proficiency in SQL Server or similar relational database management systems (RDBMS)
    • Demonstrated expertise in PowerBI for data visualization and reporting
    • Solid understanding of data management principles and best practices
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within defined timelines
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
