    Construction Estimator

    We are looking for a hardworking Construction Estimator to join our Team Your main responsibility will be to estimate work of government projects by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

    Construction Estimator duties and responsibilities

    • Explore documentation in order to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements
    • Estimate labor, material, and time requirements in order to be able to compute the overall cost of the project.
    • Analyze and evaluate offers
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors
    • Developing estimates and bids for construction projects.
    • Completing take-offs to gather information for bids.
    • Reading plans and specifications.
    • Working with Management on a daily basis

    Construction Estimator requirements

    • Previous working experience as a construction estimator
    • Ability to read and navigate plans and specifications.
    • Strong math skills including basic arithmetic, algebra and geometry.
    • Must be detail oriented
    • Critical-thinker and problem-solver
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Good time-management skills
    • Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a focus on Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Familiarity with Procore software a plus

    Salary is negotiable
