Role Summary:
Flowserve is looking for a talented and skilled Aftermarket Document Controller responsible for BOM/drawings retrieval and updating as requested through order processing, engineering, Sales, Quick Response Centers (QRC), Distributors and Global Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Work within a request system (Doctrack) for daily work assignment relative to BOM/drawing requests
- Retrieve, scan, upload and/or transmit documents located on site
- Redirect any request that may not be located on premise
- As requested, work with engineering on updating electronic BOM system to reflect pump upgrades
- As requested, work with QRC engineering on updating electronic BOM system to reflect pump repairs
- Make changes to existing electronic BOMs after completion of Engineering review during the order process
- Interact directly with our Flowserve Sales Organization, Commercial Operations, Quick Response Centers, Distributors, On Site Application Engineers, Global Business Units, and Global Engineering Teams to accurately provide data in order to meet customer expectations. Maintenance of customer data in the ERP system for pump jobs
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED and 35 years of equivalent related work experience
- Computer proficiency including ERP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Customerfocused and driven for results in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to multitask efficiently and work independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- College or Technical Degree
- Experience in Engineering
