Woodworker / Lead Fabricator

  • We operate a custom woodshop that specializes in constructing interior millwork for residential and hospitality projects. We have the privilege of collaborating with top designers and architecture firms in the area, creating truly remarkable spaces. This undertaking involves meticulous planning and dedicated effort. Our team's exceptional craftsmanship is essential in bringing these projects to life.

Woodworker / Cabinet maker:

  • Eager to learn and contribute
  • Full comprehension of shop drawings
  • Extensive knowledge of tools/machinery and how to operate them safely
  • Knowledge of wood finishing systems
  • Broad knowledge of hand tools
  • Thorough understanding of materials and wood species, plywood, solids and veneers

Responsibilities:


  • Thoroughly reviewing shop drawings
  • Delegating tasks to the shop floor
  • Creating cut lists, material orders and tracking supplies
  • Using industrial wood shop equipment, sliding saw, edgebander, CNC, widebelt, etc
  • Veneer cutting, stitching and pressing
  • Fabrication and assembly of furniture and cabinet components
  • Quality control of the work through it's entire process
  • Updating spreadsheets to track job progress and material ordering lists
  • Occasional site installation and assembly of custom millwork and casework

Bonus skills:

  • Basic knowledge of 3d modeling CAD/CAM programs such as Fusion360, Mozaik, Vcarve, Sketchup.
  • Spray booth experience using waterborne and solventborne systems.
  • Metalworking skills, basic cutting and welding, brass and bronze fabrication as well as patina's

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
