Join our caring and compassionate team as Associate Director of Human Resources**In this full-time (35 hr/wk), hybrid role based in Greenfield, as a member of the management team, you'll be responsible for administration, coordination, and development of HR functions including: staffing, performance management, compliance, benefits/leaves, and employee relations support.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS:


  • PHR or SPHR certification or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the capacity as a human resources generalist.
  • Previous supervision, policy development, HRIS/ATS (ADP a plus), and payroll experience.
  • Excellent online and Google Suite skills, and proficiency familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and HR related databases and systems.
  • Responsive approach excellent communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented. Demonstrated ability to efficiently balance concurrent and changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and maintain a full range of HR related systems and programs
  • Demonstrated resolution and result oriented focus
  • Demonstrated ability to balance organizational objectives with employee advocacy

Compensation and Benefits:
Hiring pay range: $60-65K commensurate with experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of Agency practices associated with the full employment process including recruitment, selection, orientation, training, job descriptions, performance management, retention, and separation.
  • Participate in the recommendation, implementation and interpretation of Human Resources policies. Coordinate and facilitate related communications and training, and provide coaching and counseling as needed.
  • Responsible for benefits and leave of absence administration. Serve in the role of Administrator for state PFML programs.
  • Coordinate with fiscal staff involved in payroll and benefit administration. Utilize and maintain ADP human resource information functionality to most efficiently serve the Agency
  • Play a key role in furthering the Agency's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging efforts, participating as a cofacilitative member of a crossagency committee/workgroup; provide strategic insights and researchbased recommendations to promote DEIB goals and ensure alignment with organizational values and objectives. Develop and maintain compliant Affirmative Action Program.
  • Work with Directors and Managers to identify and recommend staff development options that address Agency needs and promote organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee performance management to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity; including annual performance reviews, improvement plans and corrective action.
  • Manage workplace incidents and workers compensation claims.
  • Coordinate all aspects of workplace investigations of employee relations issues including complaints of sexual harassment and discrimination. Represent agency at employment hearings and investigations.
  • As a member of the Board of Directors Personnel Committee, prepare and report out decisions and results of HR efforts in relation to established goals.
  • Stay up to date with HR industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements applicable to LifePath human resources; minimizing Agency legal risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Provide occasional supervision and direction to administrative support staff and volunteers engaged in human resource tasks and projects.
  • Other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or another member of the Senior Management Team.
