This is an onsite position.

Computer Hardware Support


Installs, configures, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains computer hardware and peripherals including but not limited to desktops, laptop, printers, tablets, smartphones, scanners, external storage media, and other devices required and used by the Division of Cancer Medicine user community.

Computer Software and Systems Support

Technical Documentation and Administrative

Manages all incidents and service requests via the appropriate ticketing system. Performs routine office functions necessary to ensure responsive service to the business community. Complies with Institutional Asset Management Policies. Assists with intra-team communications. Provide appropriate and timely documentation via the incident management system for each service call.

Education:
Bachelor's degree


Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Level Degree


Certification Required :
None


Preferred Certification:

At least one of the following: ITIL, MCSA, MCSE, ACSP, ACDT, A+, Network+, Server +, or other technical certification in related discipline.


Experience Required:
Two years of experience with desktop, mobile computing and/or network, including problem analysis/resolution, and installation. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.

Preferred Experience:
Four or more years' experience supporting computer hardware, software, network devices, and peripherals. Familiarity with various operating systems, including but not limited to, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. Familiarity with supporting mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. Experience working with enterprise managed software and equipment. Experience troubleshooting and remediating computer virus issues.
