Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate costs
- Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work
- Collaborate with owners, project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the production process
- Provide cost analysis reports to management
- Ensure all estimates comply with regulations and quality standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years HVAC or refrigeration field experience
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Proficiency in service trades related software
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Understanding of cost control and pricing strategies
