    Description


    Opening with our client for an experienced Electrical Engineer who will function in a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineering role.


    As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be designing and implementing electrical systems for various projects in the oil and gas, and chemical industries.

    Seeking a highly skilled professional with a BSEE and 7+ years of extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in compliance with NFPA codes including NEC.

    Essential Duties

    Meet customer requirements for various projects in various industries including oil and gas and chemical

    Apply in-depth knowledge of NFPA codes, including NEC, and specific industry standards

    Design grounding, heat trace, lighting, panel layouts, single-line, and three-line diagrams for low-voltage systems.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.

    Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for electrical system designs.

    Perform detailed calculations and analysis to ensure the integrity and safety of electrical systems.

    Support customer contracts for 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance

    Requirements

    Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

    7+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on designing systems for industrial applications.

    Strong proficiency in NFPA codes, including NEC, and relevant standards for oil and gas, and chemical industries.

    Must be able to design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components or systems

    Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
