    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Coordinatethe monthly, quarterly and annual General Ledger system closings. Assist in thepreparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports. Supervisethe preparation of monthly reconciliations, the record keeping, maintenance andreporting of fixed assets, and debt.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting and five (5) years of related work experience, or anequivalent combination of education, training and experience.Supervisory experience required; publicaccounting and/or auditing experience preferred.
    • Mustpossess strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Mustpossess strong interpersonal, supervisory and management skills
    • Mustpossess strong technical accounting skills
    • Highlyskilled in Microsoft Excel, to include pivot tables, lookup and financialfunctions
    • Must befamiliar with computerized accounting systems
    • Must beable to work well under pressure and met deadlines
    • Knowledgeof current GAAP, GASB accounting and financial reporting practices forenterprise fund
    • Must beexperienced with various financial areas and handling multipleresponsibilities
    • Ability tounderstand and carry out complex oral and written instructions
    • Ability todeal tactfully and courteously with employees and the general public
    • Ability tocommunicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing
    • Ability toestablish and maintain effective working relationships with employees,vendors, and the general public
    • ValidFlorida driver's license
    • Must possess knowledge, understanding and experienceprocessing capital assets
