    Description
    We are seeking a highly motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast growing specialty practice.

    As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing patient care and assisting healthcare providers in a clinical setting.


    Duties:

    • Room patients, obtain vital signs and document in electronic medical record
    • Prepare exam rooms (cleaning and stocking)
    • Assist physician in procedures
    • Assist in performing X-Rays as needed
    • Postoperative care (including suture removal and bandage changes)
    • Sterilization of instruments
    • Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals

    Skills:

    • Active Certified Medical Assistant certification required
    • Current CPR/BLS card required
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records
