Cust Svc Rep - Cashier Part-TimePart-time schedule required:

8:00am-12pm - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

8:30am-12:30pm - Wednesday

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
  • Collect payments whether in cash or credit
  • Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
  • Redeem stamps and coupons
  • Crosssell products and introduce new ones
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving the area
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
  • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
  • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

Qualifications:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field or related area;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences;

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Shift:

  • 4 hour shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Cashier exp processing cash, issuing receipts& refunds: 5 years (required)
- perform MS Outlook&Word, Excel, Access, etc: 2 years (required)
- communicate effectively both orally and in writing: 2 years (required)
High School Diploma: 2 years (required)
