JOB SHOP ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER

This position analyzes plans/drawings/prints, bill of materials, and any other documentation in order to estimate cost of weldments/sheet metal assemblies, framework, catwalk, and light structures.

This position will also be partly responsible for planning and directing work to ensure that customer expectations are met. Must be able to stay on task and work well with others. This position requires experience in the job shop fabrication industry.

• Estimate large and small jobs pertaining to drafting,laser, forming, welding, and machining
• Keep informed on short and long range production plans in order to schedule effieciently
• Ensure production goals arre communicated to key personnel and deadlines are met
• Ability to read and interpret drawings at an advanced level in CAD as well as print.
• Solidworks experience is a bonus
• Assist engineering in customer feedback or obtaining needed information and documentation
• Experience in the metal fabrication/job shop industry a must
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills with competent computer skills, Microsoft Office, Google Drive.
• ERP system experience a bonus
• Be a strong team player and have the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
• Have excellent problem solving skills using common sense and logic
• Demonstrate an ability to lead and get results in a positive manner
• Be able to think ahead and see a bigger picture

Pay:
$62, $90,000.00 per year
