    Job Description

    At McDonald's, the Digital Accessibility role is part of the Customer Experience team, focusing on embedding accessibility into design and business solutions. The ideal candidate will identify barriers, communicate feedback effectively, and build relationships to support critical initiatives within the Agile process.

    Responsibilities include offering actionable guidance to ensure compliance and inclusivity across web, design system, kiosk, and mobile global products, supporting the Accessibility Manager for Global Products.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate and provide advice to Web and Design System teams
    • Update accessibility presentations and maintain documentation
    • Pursue ongoing education in emerging accessibility technologies

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum six years of digital accessibility experience
    • Knowledge of accessibility standards across various platforms
    • Experience in designing inclusive flows
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Design Systems
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in related fields
    • Expertise in human-centered design and user experience
    • Experience with various application frameworks and languages
    • Knowledge of design collaboration tools and marketing technology
    • Portfolio showcasing accessibility work (recommended)
