- Perform ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and optimization of Windows Servers, SANs, and related infrastructure components.
- Support and manage all virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and cloud infrastructures.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and document infrastructure components including backup systems, SANs, NAS, and networking equipment.
- Install new software releases, system upgrades, and patches. Evaluate and implement patches or troubleshoot software-related issues for third-party software.
- Design and deploy highly available hardware and software solutions across various infrastructure components.
- Document and oversee infrastructure components and asset management.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft infrastructure components like print services, AD, DNS, ADCS, AD Connect, Azure AD, Intune, Exchange Cloud Environments.
- Conduct daily backup operations to ensure all necessary file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media or cloud archive systems.
- Organize, install, and support computer systems, including LANs, WANs, network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems.
- Handle daily server administration and test functions with end-users to ensure system stability and usability.
- Manage routers, switches, VLANs, and any other required items.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and service for office printers, both local and networked.
- Assist Helpdesk and Field Support technicians with customer-reported issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service consistently.
- Communicate technical service status to customers and set service level expectations with them.
- Thoroughly document incident descriptions, activities, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Mentor IT staff members to adhere to best practices and standards.
- Take ownership of issues and ensure resolutions are carried out.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing virtualization products, including Hyper-V environments.
- 2+ years of cloud computing experience, covering migration, installation, and administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex network environments.
- Knowledge of backup systems and experience with access points, switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Experience with spam-web filter appliances and cloud email Security.
- Practical technology support experience in desktop, laptop, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals within a corporate environment.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in taking initiative and proactively managing CDO's and CDO's MSP Clients infrastructure.
- Effective in tailoring communications to different audiences.
- Skillful in implementing standards, best practices, processes, and procedures across all technology stacks.
- Strong time management and complex problem-solving skills.
- Capability to lift 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, install equipment, climb ladders, and perform tasks under desks.
- Security + certification.
- Secret security clearance.
- Associate degree in an IT-related field with 7+ years of hands-on experience.
- Experience with configuring and supporting Cisco's Meraki product line.
- Familiarity with Veeam Backup and Replication software.
- Experience with Endpoint Enterprise Security products.
- Knowledge of implementing MFA, Encryption Standards, and Certificate Services.
- Proficiency in working with clustered environments and network load balancing/failover.
- Experience with Cisco's IOS and supporting Cisco networking equipment.

Position Summary:
This role contributes to both CDO and CDO's MSP clients in the commercial industry. The responsibilities vary based on the client, requiring someone with initiative and strong customer service focus. The position involves administering and managing corporate systems and networks for internal and external clients. Furthermore, it entails assisting in the management of endpoints and other hardware and software support activities in a corporate setting for internal and external customers. The majority of tasks are carried out during regular business hours, with the likelihood of on-call availability and occasional work outside regular hours for emergency situations. Some travel may be necessary to support commercial clients.

* 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Windows server systems, MS Exchange, and Windows Operating Systems.
