are critical. In VISA, we have all of these. The Data Platform Department is in the center for many of these technologies and development.

The Data Platform team is a key component of Visa's Technology organization that provides an enriched and valuable ecosystem of data platform and data services that drive innovation for our partners and clients, within Visa and globally.

Data is the most valuable asset in Visa. The Data Platform Department is dedicated to develop advanced technology (e.g. Cloud, Machine Learning and Big Data), systems and services to make data secure, high quality, rich, fast, and easy to use, therefore enabling Visa the ability to leverage its data asset in an effective and timely manner to maximize technology/business development and differentiate Visa from others in the payment industry.

The department maintains over 100 petabytes of data supporting over 100 services for various internal lines of business and external clients.

The Data as a Service (DaaS) Data Assets Group in the Data Platform Department develops techniques, platforms, systems, and services to ensure the data pipeline development and services are efficient, high quality, rich, and easy to use.

Visa is seeking highly energetic, passionate, technology enthusiast for Data Platform team.

The successful candidate will work as a Data Engineer - Senior Consultant and be part of the Data as a Service team to design and develop solutions for all data requirements.

This role will assume technical ownership of multiple applications and create robust and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities

Participate in design discussions, create solutions, develop programs and ensure successful delivery of business capabilities

Take complete end-to-end ownership of one or more applications
Translate business requirements and source system understanding into technical solutions
Work with business partners directly to seek clarity on requirements and propose solutions
Define solutions in terms of components, modules and algorithms
Development and Implementation of the proposed solution
Identify or develop software frameworks to be used
Refactor existing solutions to make it reusable and scalable
Come up with Coding and Design best practices
Lead and mentor a small team, deliver tech talks to wider audience
Thrive in self-motivated internal-innovation driven environment
Adapt to new application knowledge and changes

Parts ordering and Hilti OnTrack asset management including calibration/certifications
Overall responsibility for the organization, cleanliness and management of the warehouse, including inventory control and parts ordering, return of used and damaged parts, and safety as it relates to the Schindler Joint Health and Safety Committee and policy requirements and ISO standards
Handling and storage of material, including shipping and receiving, ordering supplies, reviewing of all incoming material against packing slips and purchase orders, and out-going material with material requisitions and shipping documents
Control renewal parts system and procedures including data entry, issuing purchase orders for stock and non stock material as required, order entry, inventory activity records and shipping reports
Effective record keeping in real time for specific site needs (what is needed, where and when)
Drive vehicles in order to transport materials to and from specified destinations
Ability to drive vehicles with a tandem open utility trailer attached
Coordinate deliveries of material to job sites as requested
Determine the most practical and time efficient route while avoiding truck-restricted routes
Locate new delivery locations in new areas
Load and unload freight
Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition, and in accordance with Schindlers Fleet Policy
Assist in the coordination of service and maintenance of Schindlers fleet vehicles
Maintain accurate records and logs
Organize and maintain warehouse including housekeeping
Maintaining consumables and management of recycled material
High School Education
Appropriate Drivers License
Knowledge and capabilities of using information system applications via a provided laptop with programs such as Excel, Office365, SAP, Word, etc is required.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills
Organization: Possess excellent organization skills with the ability to balance high volume of activities and changing priorities
Problem Solving: Information seeking and achievement orientation, ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively
Teamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and foster a teamwork relationship
Customer Service: Good internal and external customer service skills.
Physical Fit: Ability to lift over 50lbs and/or use tools to lift heavy materials.
