Veterinary Clinic Assistant (Temporary Position)

Are you skilled in animal handling and dedicated to maintaining a clean and organized environment? Our busy veterinary clinic is seeking a Veterinary Clinic Assistant for a temporary position lasting at least four months, with the possibility of extending up to six months, to cover the upcoming summer months.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Assist veterinarians in restraining patients during exams and treatments.

Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain clinic cleanliness by regularly sanitizing examination rooms, equipment, and common areas.

Medication Management: Prepare and fill prescriptions as directed by veterinarians.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and organize inventory storage.


Requirements:

• Previous experience in veterinary clinics or animal care settings preferred.
• Proficient in safe and effective animal handling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on efficiency.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
