We are looking for a Global Head of Lean Management for one of our clients, a renowned mechanical engineering company in North Rhine-Westphalia, with 8 locations worldwide. We are seeking experienced Lean professionals with multi-site Lean experience. The company has established a strong Lean culture within the organization and is now looking to take it to the next level. With its size and number of locations, the company offers excellent development opportunities towards leadership in operations.

The position reports to the SVP of Operations.

As the Global Head of Lean Management, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the Lean production system
  • Overall responsibility for the OPEX program of the group across multiple locations worldwide
  • Actively shaping the Lean roadmap/strategy
  • Managing the OPEX team (3 people)
  • Maintaining the best practice network
  • Supporting locations in implementing Lean activities in the shop floor and support functions

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in engineering, business, or a similar field
  • 8-10 years of experience in Lean management
  • A strong leadership personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ideally, experience in multi-site management
  • Proficiency in common Lean methods
