    The Facilities Manager supports all physical plant activities of the Fora Health facilities.

    POSITION SUMMARY
    The Facilities Manager provides support services to all staff members and clients in such a way that Fora Health, Inc. can fulfill its mission. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repairs of all Fora Health facilities with the guidance of the Facilities Director, the Facilities Manager ensures that all facility related issues involving maintenance, janitorial, and laundry are addressed and documented in a timely manner.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    General role responsibilities
    • Manages the Cherry Blossom facility custodian team and laundry supervisor. Meets regularly (once on a weekly bases), develops and coaches' employees to improve productivity, creativity and quality of services.
    • The Facilities Manager participates in the monthly Health and Safety Committee Meetings, providing input in regard to monthly, and yearly inspections and tests.
    • The Facilities Manager oversees preventative maintenance and coordinates vendors when appropriate.
    • Assures support and assistance to all programs when possible (often outside the realm of "maintenance" in order to assure livability of patients and improve working environment of employees.) Continually communicates and collaborates with all programs to ensure programs areas are clean and in good working order.
    • Manages maintenance and janitorial services and staff.
    • Responsible for coordinating and conducting building inspections.
    • Will attend the "community concerns" meetings in residential at least once a month for both Mazama & Cascade or otherwise needed.
    • Oversees and coordinates agency vehicle maintenance.
    • Must qualify for and complete the driving training to be able to drive Fora Health vehicles.
    • Establishes strong ties, good working relationships and open communication with the Senior Director of Operations & Compliance, Executive Director, and CFO

    • Works closely with management and staff to develop and maintain a working relationship that enhances the three primary goals of Revenue expansion, Quality Improvement, and a functional, attractive living and work environment.
    • Demonstrates good judgement in providing day to day service to programs and management.
    • Participates actively in improving management and staff interaction

    ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Manages custodial/ maintenance and laundry Supervisor teams.
    • Conduct preventative maintenance on all facilities and systems.
    • Respond to all facilities related grievances at the adult building.
    • Troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs.
    • Conduct safety inspections and routine inspections of installed fire/life/safety systems.
    • Move furniture in administration and residential, as needed.
    • Work on ladders, both step and extension ladders.
    • Work on ladders, both step & extension.
    • Replace and re-key locks and doors as needed.
    • Work and develop good working relationships with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
    • Maintain building and grounds free of litter and debris.
    • Review and respond to daily tasks.
    • Identify and requisition needed house supplies.
    • Regularly attend and provide input to Fora Health's Health & Safety Committee Meetings.
    • Attend Administrative and other Team Meetings when asked to do so.
    • Attend all mandatory trainings.
    • Clean major structures and provide support to Custodial Service as needed. May include serving back-up custodian for tasks not outlined in service contract.
    • Takes the lead on making sure the facilities team is on top of the day-to-day responsibilities.
    • Communicates any facilities team needs to the Facilities Director.
    • Plays a key role in helping manage time off / PTO requests.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS
    • Directly supervises adult facilities maintenance and repairs team as well as the custodial and laundry teams.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • Minimum High School or GED
    • Two or more years facility management in a residential or mental healthcare facility preferred.
    • Experience working through conflict & issues related to facilities team.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Experience managing various agency inspections
    • Experience working with vendors

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS
    • DHS Background Check Approval
    • Successful completion of Drug Test upon hire
    • Documentation of Tuberculin test and/or evaluation with negative results or evidence of non-communicability
    • Two years of continuous sobriety

    WORKING CONDITIONS
    • This position generally works in an indoor office environment with infrequent travel between sites or to special events.
    • Position requires some additional hours, including evening and weekend work due to facility requests or emergencies that may arise. Adjustment of work schedule may be required.
