The Königsberger Diakonie is the operator of four nursing homes in Wetzlar, Hüttenberg and Braunfels, caring for approximately 300 elderly and dependent people in these facilities.

Starting in October 2024, we offer apprenticeships in our facilities in Wetzlar, Braunfels and Hüttenberg.

As part of the 3-year comprehensive training, you will be trained by our qualified mentors and professional staff. You will learn proper basic and treatment care and use your sensitivity and encouraging skills to motivate residents to participate in daily activities. Therapeutic measures, documentation of your observations, and communication with family members are also part of your training. You will participate in team meetings and gain valuable experience through practical assignments in other facilities. You will learn a diverse profession with varied training content.

We offer you:

  • a training allowance according to the training and internship regulations of the Diakonie in Hessen and Nassau, including an annual special payment of 80% of the average training allowance
  • payment of supplements (Saturday, Sunday, holiday and night work) as well as shift allowances
