    Description

    Position Summary:

    The Electronic Repair Technician would be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, repairing linear and switching mode power supplies to component level used in medical equipment to component level.

    Contribute to technical operations and processes that enable our organization to meet the needs of our customers.


    Essential Duties:
    Electronics repair and finishing of moderately complex RF electronics partsSoldering of small componentsIdentifying componentsMechanical disassembly and reassembly of electronic partsCleaning the parts completelyFollowing strict ISO guidelinesEducation/Experience:Required:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred:AA degree or higher in Electronics required or Military equivalentBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldsElectronic Technician certification or comparable certificationExperience with JTAG would be beneficialCompetencies:Strong electronics and technical troubleshooting knowledgeWell-organized with good follow throughWorks well with all levels of management, clients, end users and vendorsKnowledge of analog, digital and power electronicsAbility to learn maintenance and repair procedures with or without documentationGood manual dexterity and basic mechanical aptitudeQuality through hole and surface mount solderingExperience in the use of bench test equipment: multimeters, power supplies, LC meters and Digital OscilloscopesExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skillsAble to work independently or with a team to achieve assigned goalsPays attention to details to assure that the customer is completely satisfiedAble to function with minimal/no documentation of subassembliesExcellent computer skills
