Pay rate $19.98/hr

SCOPE & BASIC FUNCTION:


  • This position is vital to the Customer Order Fulfillment process and to our goal of satisfying our customers by controlling inventory accuracy, receipt of goods, and shipments to customers.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory (98% or better)
  • Maintain accurate shipping (98% or better)
  • Assure the timely & accurate shipment of customer orders and receipt of purchase orders to specifications.
  • Actively problem solve to improve the operation of the warehouse and the Customer
  • Order Fulfillment Process.
  • Interact well with each other and with other departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Regular attendance is required to maintain the functions of the job
  • Operate material handling equipment to pick orders, put away product, load and unload trucks.
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment to keep it in good operating condition.
  • Maintain the computerized inventory records to assure a high level of inventory accuracy. Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as necessary.
  • Receive incoming goods and assure they are processed properly and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Pick orders according to instructions. Ship orders by the requested ship date.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe work habits.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER SKILLS:


  • Minimum 1 year warehouse experience w/RF & WMS experience desired
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Self starter
  • Aptitude for problem solving
  • Strong basic math and reading skills
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift (standup or sitdown) and other material handling equipment such as manual pallet jacks
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English
  • Ability to pass the SR1 qualification test in English
