- Mechanical aptitude is a must.

- Successful completion of drug-related and background testing.
- Possession of a full set of hand tools per company standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to attend required training classes and seminars.
- Basic computer skills, with the ability to use a computer as a diagnostic tool.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Formal vocational training is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in compressor maintenance.
- Experience with Caterpillar and Waukesha engines.
- Familiarity with Ariel, GE, and other gas compressors.
- Knowledge of emissions controls, Control Panel, and I&E.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Frequent lifting of heavy objects.
- Extended periods of standing.
- Regular lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds.
