- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes to provide effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections to assess the condition of equipment and identify potential problems.

- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and repairs made.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a shop technician or similar role.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment or parts.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency with computers and software for record-keeping and inventory management.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; walk; use hands to handle/feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
