Elisabethen Hospital has been an integral part of providing high-quality care to patients in and around Frankfurt for over 100 years.

As a teaching hospital of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt and Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, we offer interdisciplinary training for resident physicians.

Our hospital has six (soon to be ten) operating rooms and a 16-bed intensive care unit, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Our emergency department and on-site radiology department are available 24/7. In addition, our doctors also staff the emergency response vehicle located at our hospital.


Job Description:

Your responsibilities:

  • Independent development and expansion of the trauma surgery focus within the Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery department
  • Reorganization of structures for the trauma surgery section (staff, infrastructure, processes, procedures)
  • Conservative and surgical treatment of orthopedic and trauma patients
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and proactive communication with other departments within the hospital
  • Participation in oncall duty for the Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery department
  • Supervision and training of resident physicians

Qualifications:

Your profile:

  • Completed specialist training in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery with relevant professional experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Sense of responsibility, dedication, and team spirit
  • Social competence in dealing with all professional groups, patients, and referring physicians
