- 3+ years of experience in an IT role working on Red Hat and Oracle Linux, Windows Server, Oracle OVM, or VMWare administrative activities with a focus on security implementation
- 3+ years of experience with implementation of security principles, including Zero Trust Architecture, CIS benchmarks and security controls for Linux operating system and virtual environments, including OVM or VMware
- Experience with automation, installing, configuring, administrating, patching, and security hardening industry leading and recognized COTS and open-source applications, including operating systems
- Experience with architecting lab or enterprise networks and recommending solutions and installation plans
- Experience with implementing and operating VMWare and virtualization or container solutions
- Knowledge of Linux server administration with Linux scripts using bash, csh, and ksh
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS or IT
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and associated technologies, including Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience with maintaining and installing software programming applications
- Experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
- Experience with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
- Knowledge of the systems engineering process (SEP) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
