Responsibilities:


  • Drive the complete procurement lifecycle, ensuring seamless product flow by forecasting demands, managing supplier relationships, and synchronizing with multiple teams for efficient inventory management.
  • Craft and execute a global sourcing strategy, meticulously evaluating and selecting suppliers while managing contractual relationships to ensure product quality and punctual delivery.
  • Implement performance metrics to evaluate supplier effectiveness, manage supply chain disruptions proactively, and identify costsaving opportunities to enhance profitability.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and extensive experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation, with a clear track record of success.
  • Required ISM or APICS certification, complemented by advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Advanced degree in business administration or supply chain management.
  • Multilingual capabilities, particularly in languages pertinent to our supplier base, to foster better negotiations and relationships.
  • Proven experience in the food import and distribution sector, especially with Mediterranean and European markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cost reduction projects and supply chain optimization initiatives.
  • Superior negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively across crossfunctional teams.

Pay:
$80, $100,000.00 per year
