Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced
Global Community Engagement Program Manager **with a proven track record in developing, implementing, and managing impactful Community Engagement programs and initiatives within a dynamic, fast paced, and matrixed organization.

In this role, you will play an integral part in fostering a giving culture and promoting community engagement at all levels of the organization with the primary focus of helping to drive community engagement efforts and impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., human resources, business administration) or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of direct experience as a Community Engagement professional with community engagement, volunteer management, public relations, marketing/communications, talent management, learning and development, and/or related experience.
  • Deep passion for purpose that drives accountability to living the organization's core values.
  • Committed to people development and transforming the culture of our organization to be more giving.
  • Experience in change management and the ability to deliver people and culture projects at scale.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences to drive engagement and action.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders at all levels globally.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure the impact and effectiveness of Community Engagement initiatives and provide insights that ensure continuous program improvements.
  • Advanced listening, consulting, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly capable of building trusted, open relationships.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, coachability and high emotional intelligence.
  • Adept at coaching and mentoring employees across the organization.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Program Design and Management:Develop and successfully implement Community Engagement practices and programs to grow the positive impact and reputation of employee giving and volunteering strategies. Ensure program adherence to goals, timelines, and budget based on organizational needs and objectives through the creation of comprehensive project plans and teams.

Benevity (Spark)

Platform Administration:

Serve as system administrator for global giving, volunteering, and grant platform to ensure timely processing of employee and potential grantee requests.

Partner with Foundation Board and Finance, Accounting, and/or Procurement for prompt invoice payments and adherence to established budgets.

Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), key stakeholders across the global organization, and external community partners (as needed) to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, aligning them with the organization's Community Engagement strategies.
