Premier Law firm is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team.This firm is renowned for its commitment to excellence and is looking for a Legal Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Editing and finalizing various legal documents, letters, and reports.
Manually managing calendars (utilizing Outlook).
Handling filings with both state and federal courts, including electronic filings.
General administrative tasks encompassing phone correspondence, expense reports, travel arrangements, and the efficient management of attorneys' schedules.
Efficiently juggling multiple cases and supporting several attorneys.
Excelling both as an independent worker and as a team player.
Minimum Qualifications:
~3 years of recent litigation experience, preferably in family law.
~ Experience with state and federal court filing, including e-filing experience
~ Adept knowledge of calendaring, encompassing state and federal court regulations, dates, and procedures, sans reliance on calendaring software.
~ Proficiency in using various technical tools, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
~ History of crafting diverse legal documents such as motions (e.g., MSJs), discovery materials, pleadings, and judicial council forms.
~ Outstanding communication abilities, coupled with a highly organized nature.
~ Capacity to adeptly handle multiple tasks concurrently, even under pressure.
~ Openness to constructive feedback and adeptness at working independently with minimal supervision while delivering results.
~ Demonstrated teamwork orientation.
~ Proficiency in technology and a quick, efficient work style, all while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
~ Collaboration skills, contributing to a shared mission with colleagues.
~ A proactive attitude, including a willingness to take on new responsibilities.
