Description
The Primary Care opportunity is at the Windsor clinic, though clinical duties may be split between the two primary care sites depending upon the candidate and patient need.## The incoming physician will primarily have a practice focusing on adult medicine, with a heavy concentration of Medicare patients.
Training should be in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (recognizing the pediatrics component will be small).# The physician will work 36 clinical hours per week and provide outpatient call coverage.# The call coverage obligation is between one week night every other week and 1:6 -1:8 weekends.# The total patient panel for the practice is approximately 15,000 patients with room and demand to grow.#
The current patient volume is 15 per day however the support system is in place for a physician to see more than the average.
# # The Primary Care Practice#s main location is on the campus of Mt.Ascutney Hospital in Windsor with an additional and growing practice at the Ottauquechee Health Center in Woodstock (4 MD, 2 Associate Providers).
