- Perform tasks on projects requiring a broad or deep knowledge in the field of structural, engineering, and marine infrastructure
- Perform tasks in the field of structural analysis and design; including but not limited to reinforced and pre-stressed concrete design, steel design and timber design; deep foundations; gravity-based foundations; earth retaining structures, etc.
- Implement design best practices in areas of expertise, in addition, ensures conformance with all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
- Prepare and review calculations for analysis along with preparing engineering reports and memoranda
- Prepare construction drawings and other documents, such as technical specifications
- Perform/oversee construction administration activities and work collaboratively with members of all company disciplines
- Perform site inspections, along with other duties as required.
- A Bachelor's in civil engineering with concentration in Structural or Geotechnical Engineering, a Master's is advantageous.
- Engineering in Training Certification or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 0 to 4 years of previous related experience in marine/waterfront structural design, construction, inspection, and rehabilitation.
- The ability and willingness to travel and perform required fieldwork.
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills along with advanced relationship-building skills.

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Marine Engineer to join our team in New York. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant projects.

Base compensation: $65,000 to $85,000 for New York location only. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set and/or location
