Per Diem Veterinarian - Hudson Falls, United States - ADK Spay and Neuter/Eir Veterinary Care

Description

Duties:

• Conduct examinations/evaluations of animals prior to procedures
• Perform surgical procedures, primarily spaying and neutering
• Prescribe medications and administer vaccinations to prevent and treat diseases
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide care for animals
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments and procedures

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Valid state license to practice veterinary medicine
• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases
• Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving skills
• Effective communication skills to interact with staff members and other veterinarians
• Ability to handle stressful situations with compassion and professionalism
• Willingness to stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education
