Position: Senior Business Analyst

Location: St. Paul, MN - hybrid work, occasional office presence.

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

Join an enthusiastic IT Department at Client offering an engaging role for a Senior Business Analyst. Be a part of our Customer Experience Product Team, collaborating directly with stakeholders to define and develop customer portal functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business goals and user requirements, capture and document requirements, and transform business targets into user stories.
Create business process and system data flows, sharing them with the development team.
Create user stories encompassing business objectives, requirements, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and test data for use cases.
Analyze data for story clarification and replicate issues using SQL tools.
Comprehend agricultural industry challenges and trends, proposing technical solutions to enhance customer product/service value.
Ensure adherence to T Methodology and best practices.
Collaborate with fellow analysts, technical personnel, and management.
Promote a robust safety culture, following safety policies and identifying workplace hazards.

Basic Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work experience with developers and QA analysts in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Proficient in SQL, capable of crafting complex queries to extract use case data.
Previous customer-centric project involvement, particularly with customer-facing portals.
4+ years of business systems analyst experience, including defining project scope, gathering detailed requirements, and devising solutions for complex issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in data analysis and mapping.
Familiarity with Client SQL Server, Snowflake, and AWS.
Local candidates around the St. Paul metro area preferred.
