Senior Business Analyst

Customer Experience Product TeamLocation: St.

Paul, MN (Hybrid Work Model)

Duration: 6-month Contract to Hire

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our IT Department and support our Customer Experience Product Team.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the business and customers, defining the functionality of our customer portal and collaborating with the development team to bring it to life.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business objectives and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into user stories. Create business process flows and system data flows for the development team. Develop user stories that include business objectives, requirements, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and test data. Analyze data using SQL tools to clarify stories and replicate bugs. Understand industry issues and trends, proposing technical solutions to enhance customer products and services. Ensure adherence to IT Methodology and best practices. Collaborate with other analysts, technical staff, and management. Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a team setting. Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries. Previous experience with customer-facing portals.

4+ years of experience as a business systems analyst, including formulating system scope, gathering detailed requirements, and solving complex issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data analysis and mapping. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, and AWS. Local to the St. Paul metro area preferred.
