About the Position:


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards, including Mexican accounting regulations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, adhering to both US GAAP and Mexican accounting principles.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including collaboration with department heads to develop annual budgets and performance metrics, considering Mexican economic and regulatory factors.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Partner with operations to ensure Labor and Overhead rates are set accordingly and report on variances providing recommendations.
• Oversee accounting function to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, in compliance with US and Mexican regulations.
• Assist with preparation and filing all tax returns, including Mexican tax filings, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in both the US and Mexico.
• Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the annual financial audit process, ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and Mexican accounting standards.
• Provide financial analysis and support for strategic decisionmaking, including investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and pricing strategies, considering Mexican market conditions.
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals in the US and Mexico, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.

_ Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate financial information in both languages.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a highperforming team.
• Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and IFRS.
• Experience with Hyperion is preferred.

Education/Experience:
_** Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or combination of education and experience.

Ten (10) years + of general ledger and financial reporting experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
