Our client is a highly successful and rapidly expanding production company in the high-tech/optoelectronics industry. With its groundbreaking innovations, the company has secured a leading position in many markets. We are currently seeking a Production Manager (m/f/d) for the Solvang, CA location.

Responsibilities:

Managing the entire production area at the site
Ensuring delivery performance, quality, safety standards, and cost targets
Leading and developing the skills of team leaders and employees
Expanding the metricsbased system to increase quality and delivery volume
Participating in process improvement projects
Directly coordinating with the plant manager
Working closely with other departments
Establishing and developing a deputy

Qualifications:

Successfully completed studies, preferably in a productionrelated field
Experience in small series production/special machine construction
Several years of experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts
Several years of experience in a leadership position in a production environment
Proficient in implementing and designing processes using common tools/instruments (KPIs, PCA cycles, 6Sigma, 5S)
Project management experience
Constant presence on the shop floor
Systematic and solutionoriented work approach
Excellent English skills
