SUMMARY


In 2021 Price Chopper/Market 32 merged with Tops Markets and together became subsidiaries of Northeast Grocery, Inc., along with our back office operation, Northeast Shared Services.

We operate supermarkets in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire and are comprised of nearly 300 stores, several warehouse and distribution centers, and approximately 30,000 teammates and associates.

Northeast Shared Services provides business services and support to both the Tops and Price Chopper/Market 32 operating companies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide first level technology support desk for all Northeast Grocery Opco's.
  • Categorize, assign severity, and document all issues into the ticket system.
  • Provide resolutions within established timeline rules by severity type
  • Dispatch field technicians for onsite repair as needed
  • Ensure systems remain operational at all times
  • Communicate and coordinate support during crisis management incidents
  • Update knowledge base as new problems/solutions are determined
  • Interface with second level support groups as needed
  • Perform analysis of problem types and make recommendations to reduce incidents & cost

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of computers and networks
  • Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, Web interfaces
  • Good interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Detail minded, selfmotivated and able to work in a team environment.

Flexible scheduling required

  • Department operates 7 days a week 24 hours a day several rotating shifts: AM, PM, overnight are required and revolving scheduled weekends and holidays.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College degree in IT preferred, 35 years in retail and/or help desk
  • Experience with POS functionality, EFT systems (ie: registers, uscan) and fuel sites

Pay:
$ $32.03 per hour
