- Collecting and analyzing tech specifications for different departments, overseeing system maintenance, and ensuring efficient operations.
- Building strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, and obtaining the best pricing for equipment and software purchases.
- Planning budgets, supervising purchases, and integrating systems seamlessly into the organization.
- Keeping updated on new technologies, researching enhancements, and evaluating IT infrastructure for recommendations and improvements.
- Providing training, resources, and scheduling career development opportunities for subordinates involved in software systems implementation and maintenance.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to company data and ensuring a balance between operational and economic costs of digital security systems.
- Coordinating with different departments to prioritize customer support, cooperation, and aligning department goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems (CIS)
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
- Practical experience with MIS tools, ERP, CRM, Computer Networking, and security concepts
- Certified with CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills
- Prolonged periods working on a computer and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds
