Job summary
This position is for an experienced commodity manager in the Electronic Component team. The individual will develop a strategic plan for a commodity and supply base, collaborate with multiple business units to execute Supply Chain strategies, own and be responsible for relationships with multiple strategic suppliers, evaluate and select supplier alignment based on price competitiveness, capability quality reliability TCO negotiate and execute long term agreements with supply base that aligns with commodity strategy internal stakeholders needs lead sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature work limited oversight leadership manage several projects at one time variety complexity clearly communicate project status leadership ability identify pursue VA VE opportunities collaboration internal stakeholders lead change management or work transfer projects cost savings alignment supply base analyze data determine reasonable prices influence support Collins strategic initiatives change management projects travel required percent.
