Burrow Global is seeking to hire a
Capital Projects Planner Scheduler for a long term assignment with a chemical manufacturer in Lake Charles, LA.

This position will focus on capital project scheduling and planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INVOLVE:
- Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible.
- Advanced work packaging along with strong P6 scheduling and reporting.
- Assess impacts to critical path and nearcritical activities, report to project team
- Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis
- Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule
- Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule
- Verify contractors schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float paths
- Create activity sequences for constructability
- Resource load schedules as required by the project team
- Perform jobsite walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities
- Development and maintenance of resource loaded schedule, critical path analysis, resolution of scheduling conflicts and monitoring schedule delays, impacts and variances to the baseline.
- Develop / Manage the (EVM) Earned Value Management progress base and ensure accuracy
- Support in the maintenance of the WBS and coordination of work packages.
- Develop work planning with field coordinators and hold regular field progress meetings. Track field progress and manage the progress and productivity measurement systems.
- Conduct field walk downs with project managers, project leads and field coordinators.
- Work with site management in driving organizational structure (headcount) based on historical trends and manpower forecasts.
- Assist project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
- Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma, Bachelor's or Associate degree with a minimum of 5-7 years related experience in petrochemical or refining capital project scheduling and planning, field experience is required.
