    Job Description Summary

    Performs a wide array of routine, standardized clerical, administrative or operational support duties in the Fulfillment Center. This includes the collection, sorting, and delivery of inbound and outbound mail, shipping and receiving efforts, and in-house printing.

    Provides exceptional customer service for internal customers to ensure continued success for the business units of Redstone Federal Credit Union.


    The Fulfillment Center Specialist I is distinguished form the Fulfillment Center Specialist II by the level of experience and responsibility.

    Job Description


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    Works on a team to ensure the routing and delivery of all incoming and outgoing mail, office supplies and other deliveries for the Credit Union effectively and efficiently, on a daily basis.


    Collects and prepares outgoing mail, utilizing relevant equipment, to ensure appropriate stamp pricing and any necessary tracking are applied for the relevant delivery service, including but not limited to; USPS, FedEx, UPS and supply companies.


    Receives, collects and organizes incoming and inter-office mail from a variety of sources; sorts, prepares for delivery and delivers as necessary; ensures any items to be sent via courier or collected by a 3rd party are ready and available in a timely manner and with any required documentation.


    Maintains readiness of all mailing and printing equipment including regular cleaning and user maintenance, and coordinates vendor maintenance when required in order to meet production requirements.

    Stages print and shipping supplies as necessary in order to maintain production readiness.


    Schedules and organizes print shop work; programs and calibrates printers; prepares and processes all in-house printing, including but not limited to; reports, training materials, business cards, vouchers and forms.

    Operates computers, scanners, copiers, optical imaging, mail and other related standard office and processing equipment.


    Assists in departmental metric tracking for assigned tasks; performs data entry to prepare a variety of standard materials, documents and reports; updates computer records and databases; completes and processes standard forms related to areas of responsibility.


    Maintains records of work performed; documents and processes departmental work, including but not limited to; verifying for accuracy and completeness, performing research, scanning and filing documents and other materials, maintains stock and postage levels for the department and the Credit Union.


    Complies with all security and audit procedures as required by procedures and policy in order to protect member information that may pass through the department.

    Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Minimum Qualifications

    To perform this job satisfactorily, an employee must be able to carry out each essential duty competently. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and abilities required.

    An equivalent combination of edu ation and experience may be considered.

    Education Requirements

    Required - High School or GED

    Required - Valid US Driver's License

    Effectively apply internal/external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards and achieve member satisfaction.


    Learn and apply information, on a wide range of Credit Union products, services and regulatory compliance requirements, in order to assess member situations and develop solutions.

    Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.

    Use correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.

    Operate computers and use business software and other standard office equipment.

    Understand and follow written and oral instructions.

    Set priorities and manage ones own time effectively.
