Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan and direct the manufacturing engineering function, and provide technical support to other engineering disciplines, manufacturing, or staff functions within his or her assigned manufacturing facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities

Plans and directs all production engineering activities and personnel within the plant, ensuring proper and effective support of new product launches by the production engineering department
Ensures process control systems for all production processes, and provides adequate training to the manufacturing groups to assure capability of implementing control system
Oversees the on-time input of the BOM/routings, and ensures that production rates and machine cycle times are available for input for all new products per the established project plan

Requirements

Your Background

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, plus years of experience in manufacturing environment—including:

2 - 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
4 years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management position.

MBA or MS in Engineering, and experience in an engineering function with an automotive lighting manufacturer is preferred.
