  • TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking experienced Material Handlers in Chillicothe, IL.
  • Fulltime
    Overall Purpose
  • Under direction of the Shift Supervisor or Warehouse Team Lead, the Material Handler completes in a timely manner all receiving, shipping, and material handling functions as required

Reports to

  • Site Supervisor/Site Leaders

Responsibilities
- (To include but not limited to the following)

  • Client Relationship & Business Development
  • Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria

Operations

  • Sort material as needed
  • Accurately and legibly fill out daily paperwork
  • Perform record
- and time keeping activities as required

  • Complete damaged goods reports and/or accident reports as required
  • Use power
- and hand tools typically found in a warehouse environment

  • Complete other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
  • Checks parts for nonconformance per work instructions and/or criteria
  • Makes pass/fail decisions on nonconformance items
  • Use power
ed industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material within the work area


Organization & Management

  • Collect and record data for Management
  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities

Technical

  • Accurately perform basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Satisfactorily complete work instruction training
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Operatinglevel proficiency using personal and laptop computers
  • Capable of neatly and clearly keeping records and recording time keeping
  • Powered Industrial Truck Operator (OSHA) with certification from TRIGO HT
  • Demonstrated competency in operating power and hand tools

Work experience

  • Overall recommendations
  • Ability to read blueprints, use calipers, and micrometers preferred
  • Warehousing and logistics operations work experience preferred
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material
  • Must have reliable transportation

Education background

  • High school diploma or GED required
