JOB TITLE:
Part-Time Adult Education English Teacher for James H. Groves Adult High School 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Mon/Wed)


LOCATION:
Adult Education Division

• Marshallton Building

REPORTS TO:
Building Administrator


QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold or be eligible for Delaware Teacher Certification in English or Adult Education Permit.


GOAL:
Provide instruction in English Language Arts to adult students who are seeking their high school diploma. Work with students to complete their CEA3 paper.


SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Plan, organize and provide instruction that supports all levels of students with methods that are accepted as best practices in this field.
• Maintain and communicate attendance, performance, and growth data with students and staff in a timely manner.
• Proficient computer skills including Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Schoology, and the use of Zoom and/or Teams for online courses.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by administration.

SALARY:

$33 per hour

According to the salary schedule as approved by the Board of Education.
