Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Prep to join our team.

As a Kitchen Prep, you will play a crucial role in the preparation of our day to day ingredients, ensuring that each meal served reflects our commitment to quality and taste.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.


Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Follow recipes and guidelines to create consistent, delicious dishes.

Cooking: Safely and efficiently cook menu items, including frying and boiling, while maintaining the highest food safety standards.

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, utensils, and prep areas. Adhere to all sanitation and safety guidelines.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members, including chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house employees, to ensure smooth service and timely order fulfillment.

Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels and notifying management when supplies need replenishing.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Prep in a fastpaced kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for healthy, farmtotable dining and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Understanding of professional cooking and knifehandling skills
  • Must have problemsolving skills, be selfmotivated, and be organized.
  • Tolerance to temperature fluctuations
  • Work with hazardous substances such as hot oil
  • Ability to use all relevant equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize work activities and provide accurate information and assistance to any management request in a timely manner.
  • Available to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business

Physical Demands/Working Environment:


  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift 50+ pounds for the duration of your shift (up to 8 hours with scheduled breaks)
  • Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hand regularly and in frequent or repetitive motion.
  • Ability to reach items at varying heights.
  • Occasionally, kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.

Schedule:


  • Available to work days and nights
