About Us

The Association of the Dioceses of Germany (VDD), as the legal entity of the German Bishops' Conference, brings together the 27 legally and economically independent (arch)dioceses.

We are currently seeking a IT Employee (m/f/d) for the Central Services and Organization Department at the VDD headquarters in Bonn, starting as soon as possible. This position is initially limited to one year as a temporary replacement for an employee on sick leave, with a workload of 100%.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Risk management, planning, installation, configuration, maintenance and upkeep of the IT infrastructure,
Market research and procurement of IT-related hardware/software/services,
Monitoring and ensuring the smooth functioning of all IT-related systems, especially the virtualized Windows server infrastructure (VMware) and the Active Directory, as well as the Exchange server,
User support and backup of all server-stored data.
