SUMMARY

This position is responsible for working directly with the Superintendents and Project Managers to coordinate all activities in the field.

The Project Coordinator reviews all necessary qualified resources to support a given project.

This position is typically expected to work 8-hour days, Monday through Friday each week - additional hours may be required as needed.

The Project Coordinator is expected to provide support to project management and complete project deliverables effectively and on time.

This position requires strong time management and analytical ability, excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to perform project oversight and make value-added conclusions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create and maintain project permits
  • Calling in Diggers 811 locates and renewing locate tickets
  • Create and maintain formulated Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Create and maintain ArcGIS database
  • Coordination of subcontractors and estimates
  • Monitor project costs and budgets
  • Manage and interpret specifications, drawings, and contracts
  • Maintain fieldlevel client relationships
  • Identify and communicate scope changes to Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foremen
  • Maintain project processes and procedures

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Microsoft Office, specifically Excel:


  • Strong use of spelling, composition, and grammar
  • Critical thinking, time management, problemsolving, and analytical skills

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Comfortable interacting with construction personnel
  • Some construction background is desired but not absolutely necessary
  • Reliable transportation
