    Description
    The starting pay rate for this position is $29.54/hour.

    Employee will generally represent the Agency on other legal matters as assigned by the Agency Solicitor, Agency Administrator or the Administrator's designee.

    Employee will represent the Agency before the Dauphin County Juvenile Court on the following:
    review hearings, dependency hearings, status conferences, emergency shelter care hearings, dispositional review hearings, and permanency reviews. Additionally, Attorney shall represent the Agency in effectuating inter-county transfers.

    This employee will represent the Agency in Dauphin County Orphans' Court for cases of involuntary termination of parental rights and associated appeals.


    Minimum Education, Experience and Training Requirements:


    Graduation from an approved school of law and certificate of admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania; Continued employment is conditional upon the maintaining such certificate of admission.


    Other Requirements:


    At the time of hire, a valid driver's license and positive driving record, a favorable criminal background check, child abuse and FBI clearances, as well as favorable references are required.

    The applicant must provide proof of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license within 60 days from the date of hire.

    An alternative form of identification will be accepted if you are not eligible to receive a Pennsylvania driver's license under 67 PA.

    Code § 83 and driving is not an essential function of the position.
