    Position Profile

    As a Back-End Web Developer, you will play an integral role within our dynamic and innovative technology team. Your responsibilities will encompass architecting, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications that drive our web experiences.

    Your expertise will be a cornerstone in shaping the foundation of our digital products, ensuring they function seamlessly while prioritizing security and scalability.

    Responsibilities


    Collaborate effectively with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and cross-functional teams as a key participant in conceptualizing and implementing efficient server-side solutions.

    Utilize your skills to design, develop, and maintain APIs, databases, and server-side logic, providing the essential infrastructure for dynamic web applications.

    Apply your coding proficiency to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code aligned with project requirements and industry standards.

    Employ your troubleshooting and debugging acumen to identify root causes of technical issues, promptly implementing effective solutions to guarantee optimal application performance.

    Implement and uphold security measures, ensuring the safeguarding of sensitive data and the mitigation of potential vulnerabilities.
    Leverage your expertise to optimize application performance and scalability by skillfully designing databases and implementing query optimization techniques.
    Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying your knowledge to consistently enhance our technical stack.

    Actively participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to fellow team members to uphold high code quality and adherence to coding standards.

    Collaborate seamlessly with DevOps teams to facilitate smooth deployment and continuous integration processes.
    Play an active role in architectural discussions and decisions, making substantial contributions to the evolution of our technology landscape.

    Qualifications

    Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or possess equivalent practical experience).

    Demonstrate a track record of professional experience as a Back-End Developer, showcasing your proficiency in developing and deploying server-side applications.

    Exhibit a strong command of programming languages such as PHP (must have), Python (nice to have), Java (nice to have), or similar languages commonly used in back-end development.

    Bring hands-on experience with server-side frameworks like Laravel (preferred), ExpressJS, Vue, etc.
    Display proficiency in designing and interacting with databases, encompassing both SQL and NoSQL databases.
    Possess a solid grasp of API design principles, RESTful architecture, and the seamless integration of third-party APIs.
    Showcase an understanding of security best practices, complemented by practical experience in implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.
    Have a sound knowledge of version control systems (e.g., GitLab and Bitbucket preferred) and collaborative development workflows.
    Employ strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating your ability to dissect complex technical challenges and devise effective solutions.
    Exhibit excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, fostering effective teamwork and knowledge exchange.
    Ideally, possess experience with cloud platforms (AWS and GCP preferred).
    Ideally, have familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
