Outdoor Inspector/Groundskeeper position will ensure that each rental property is cleaned to meet CVR's property standards and are ready for guest arrival and occupancy.

For this position, mileage will be tracked and reimbursed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain an excellent customer service relationship by adhering to Clemson Vacation Rentals standards
• Work with maintenance team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times
• Occasionally performing maintenance/handyman duties outdoors
• Inspect exterior grounds and buildings for cleanliness to ensure appearance of home is free of cobwebs, debris, and other unsightly occurrences
• Pick up trash on grounds
• Water flowers, plants and shrubs as needed
• Pick up trash, straighten and wipe down furniture in outdoor area including screened in porches where applicable
• Responsible for maximizing curb appeal
• Check and replace outdoor light bulbs as needed
• Maintenance and cleaning of grills (propane and charcoal) including switching propane tanks where necessary
• Mow lawn, weed eat, trim hedges, and other landscaping duties as needed
• Haul trash when needed
• Sweep, blow and or pressure wash driveways, sidewalks, porches, and outdoor recreational areas
• Perform additional duties as directed

Education/Experience and Technical Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous grounds, janitorial and/or maintenance experience preferred
• Position requires employee to be able to use general cleaning equipment and tools included but not limited to hand tools, ladders, cleaning chemicals, vacuums, blowers, hoses, lawn mowers, weed eaters, pressure washers, and others

• Ability to work Sunday through Saturday
• Traveling between worksites is frequent and this person will need their own reliable transportation
• Ability to stand, sit and walk for an extended period of time.
• Reach overhead and below the waist.
• Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel and twist
